Two more children died of measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours, according to a press release of the control room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday.
It said two people died of measles symptoms in the last 24 hours, while a total of 831 children have died of measles symptoms from 15 March to 22 August.
The release added that no one died of confirmed measles in the last 24 hours, while 99 people have died of confirmed measles since 15 March.
It said 815 patients with measles symptoms were reported in the last 24 hours, while the total number of patients with measles symptoms reached 148,406 from 15 March to 22 August.
The number of confirmed measles cases in the last 24 hours was 65, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 18,273 since 15 March.
From 15 March to 22 August, a total of 129,583 patients with measles symptoms were admitted to hospitals. During the same period, 125,151 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.
