President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal has sent a congratulatory message to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on his election as the 23rd president of Bangladesh.
In his message, the Nepalese president wished the newly elected Bangladeshi president success in his new responsibilities and reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to further strengthening the long-standing friendly ties between Nepal and Bangladesh, including the deep-rooted people-to-people connections that bind the two nations together, the Nepal Embassy said in a social media post.
