The oath-taking ceremony of the six new ministers will be held at the Darbar Hall of Bangabhaban on Friday evening.
To this effect, the Department of Govrnment Vehicles has allocated six new cars for the ministers’ convenience, a senior official of the department confirmed.
According to the official, the Cabinet Division had asked the department for six cars, which have been sent to them as per their demand.
The department added that only the Cabinet Division knows how many of these cars will be used today.
The names of the new ministers have been revealed already, which include: BNP Standing Committee member and lawmaker Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, Jatiya Party Chairman and lawmaker Andaleeve Rahman, Member of Parliament from Bandarban Sa Ching Prue Jerry and Gaibandha-4 lawmaker Mohammad Shamim Kaiser Lincoln.
Cabinet Division said the oath-taking ceremony of the new ministers will be held on Friday evening following the same procedure for the newly-elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
