The 2027 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are likely to begin on 14 March next year, with education boards planning to complete the exams by 15 April.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has taken a preliminary decision to start the SSC and equivalent examinations on 14 March 2027 and continue them until 15 April.
However, the schedule has not yet been finalised.
Professor Jesmin Taslima Banu, convener of the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers Committee and Controller of Examinations of the Dhaka Education Board, said that the final decision would be taken soon and the detailed examination schedule would be published shortly.
The 2027 SSC examination schedule will include the examinations under the general education boards, along with the equivalent examinations under the madrasah and technical education systems.
The authorities are expected to announce the detailed timetable after completing the necessary preparations.
