In order to engage with Bangladesh’s apparel industry, the Messe Frankfurt Bangladesh took part in the recently concluded BAYLA Future Summit 2026 in Dhaka.
Messe Frankfurt, a globally acclaimed event organiser based in Germany, also showcased its deft arrangement of past trade fairs across the world during the BAYLA summit, and pledged to help Bangladeshi businesses expand outreach.
The two-day summit, organised by the Bangladesh Apparel Youth Leaders Alliance (BAYLA), was held on 20–21 July 2026 at a hotel in Dhaka, according to press release issued Wednesday.
The summit brought together industry leaders, manufacturers, brands, technology providers, policymakers, and sustainability experts to discuss artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, digital transformation, innovation, and the future of Bangladesh’s apparel and textile industry.
During the summit, among others, Director of BAYLA and Giant Group Azfar Ankon Hassan visited the Messe Frankfurt Bangladesh booth, and exchanged views with Omer Salahuddin, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Bangladesh, and its head of operations Rummana Afroze.
The Messe Frankfurt Bangladesh promoted its leading international textile and apparel trade fairs during the event, encouraging manufacturers, exporters, buyers, and industry professionals to participate as exhibitors and visitors to expand their reach in international markets.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to connecting Bangladeshi manufacturers and exporters with international markets through its Apparel Sourcing exhibitions in Paris, New York City, and Los Angeles.
