12kg LPG cylinder price hiked by Tk70

The government has raised the price of a 12-kilogram cylinder of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk70 to Tk1,598, effective from Sunday evening.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new price for August in a notification issued Sunday afternoon.

The previous rate for the 12-kg LPG cylinder, commonly used for household cooking, was Tk1,528.
