Starcom Bangladesh wins two silver at Creativepool UK Annual Award 2026

Bangladesh has made its mark on the global creative stage as Starcom Bangladesh won two Silver awards at the UK-based Creativepool Annual Awards 2026 for its Samsung campaign, “An Ad That Erases Ads.” The agency won Silver in both categories it entered, with Silver being the highest award given in each category this year.

The campaign was created to highlight Samsung’s Object Eraser tool, an AI feature available on its mid-range A Series smartphones. Instead of promoting the feature through a regular advertisement, Starcom Bangladesh turned the ad itself into an interactive experience. Users could circle unwanted advertisements and erase them from the page, just as Object Eraser removes unwanted objects from photos.

The idea made a complex AI feature easy to understand. It also turned advertising clutter into part of the campaign. The website, surrounding advertisements and user interaction all worked together to demonstrate the feature.

The latest recognition adds to Starcom Bangladesh’s nine awards for this campaign at Commward and Digital Marketing Award 2026, strengthening the agency’s growing presence in international creative competitions.

From developing the initial thought to finding the right media environment and bringing the technology and execution together, the team worked collaboratively to turn a simple observation into something people could experience. The recognition reflects that collective effort.”

The achievement follows Starcom Bangladesh’s Creativepool recognition in 2025 for its Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra campaign, “Summaries, Just Like That!” Both campaigns reflect the agency’s focus on turning product capabilities into engaging consumer experiences.
