Class XI classes to begin on 24 Sept

Classes for students admitted to Class XI for the 2026-27 academic year will begin on 24 September instead of 23 September, according to a notice issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Wednesday.

The date was pushed back by a day as all educational institutions across the country will remain closed on 23 September on the occasion of Fateha-i-Yazdaham.

According to the notice, classes for students admitted online to Class XI for the 2026-27 academic year were scheduled to begin on 23 September under Clause 6.0 of the “Admission Policy for Class XI-2026”.

However, as 23 September has been declared a one-day holiday at all educational institutions across the country, the class commencement date has been rescheduled to 24 September.

The authorities requested the relevant students and guardians to be informed of the revised schedule.
