Bangladeshi student killed in road accident in Australia

A Bangladeshi student at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia, was killed in a road accident on 8 October, the Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra said.

Tasnim Oishi died at 7:45am in the accident on Indian Ocean Drive in Perth, according to a Facebook post by the high commission.

The high commission expressed deep sorrow over her untimely death and extended its heartfelt condolences to her bereaved family.

The Bangladeshi International Students Association Perth (BISAP) also mourned Oishi’s death, saying the incident had left the Bangladeshi student community deeply saddened.

In a Facebook statement, BISAP extended its condolences to her family, friends, classmates and loved ones and prayed for the eternal peace of her soul.

 

The association also prayed that Allah would grant her Jannatul Firdaus and give her family the strength to bear the loss.
