Two garment workers killed in Ctg EPZ road accident

Two garment workers were killed when a pickup van collided with their motorbike in EPZ area of Chattogram city on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as Tamanna, 23, from Morelganj of Bagerhat and used to live in Kolshir Dighi of Chattogram, Md Khalil, 38, resident of Free Port New Mooring area under EPZ Police Station.

 

Locals said the collision took place around 9am on Road No. 5 in EPZ area, leaving the injured.

 

They rescued the two injured motorcyclists and took them to Chattogram Medical College Hospital where doctors declared them dead.

 

Nurul Alam Ashek, in-charge of Chattogram Medical College Hospital police outpost said the bodies have been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
