The body of a 13-year-old boy, the missing son of Comilla University teacher Dr Nahida, was recovered from a bush near the university campus on Saturday.
Police recovered the body of the boy, Apratim, from a bush beside the university’s southern gate at around 1:30pm on Saturday.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rakibul Islam of Sadar Dakshin Model Police Station confirmed the matter to the media.
Apratim went out from his home in Kotbari area under Ward 24 of Comilla Sadar Dakshin on Friday afternoon with his mother’s iPhone to take photos with his friends.
He did not return home afterwards.
Family members searched for him in different places but could not find him. Police later recovered his body from the area near the university.
