Sheraton Dhaka celebrates Turkish cuisine with ‘Nights in Istanbul’

Sheraton Dhaka is hosting a Turkish food festival featuring authentic dishes and flavours from Türkiye from 3 to 12 September at The Garden Kitchen on the hotel’s 14th floor in Banani.

Titled ‘Nights in Istanbul’, the festival brings together Turkish cuisine experts Chef Rimoun Obaid and Chef Sait Dursun with Sheraton Dhaka chefs Mahbubur Rashid Akhand and Dulak Paul.

The chefs are presenting a wide range of Turkish dishes, including Adana Kebab, Tavuk Kanat, Hünkar Beğendi, Tavuk Döner, Kuzu Pirzola, Tavuk Külbastı, Tas Kebabı, Dana Dalyan Köfte Püreli, Mantarlı Piliç Sote and Ali Paşa Pilavı.

The festival’s main attraction is an authentic Turkish kebab and grill selection, featuring a variety of grilled meats prepared with traditional spices and cooking techniques inspired by Istanbul’s culinary traditions.

The buffet also includes international dishes such as Irish Lamb Stew, Greek Lamb Shank, Mutton Nihari and Mutton Rogan Josh.

Dessert options include Soğuk Baklava, Pistachio & Coconut Baklava, Turkish Rawani, Tulumba, live Teppanyaki Ice Cream, Moshabak, Arabian Medovik, Kunafa and Matcha Mousse Cake.

The festival is available exclusively during dinner, with the buffet priced at Tk9,950 net per person.

Guests can also enjoy Buy 1 Get 3, Buy 1 Get 2 and Buy 1 Get 1 offers with more than 20 participating bank cards.
