UAE envoy, WFP representative discuss food security, humanitarian support

United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdulla Ali AlHmoudi met with World Food Programme (WFP) Representative in Bangladesh Coco Ushiyama to discuss humanitarian and food security priorities and ways to strengthen cooperation in support of vulnerable communities in Bangladesh.

The UAE Embassy in Dhaka shared the information on its official Facebook page on Thursday (1 October).

During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation on humanitarian issues and food security, with a focus on supporting vulnerable communities in Bangladesh.
