RIM Engineering & Elevators Ltd signed an agreement with OTIS Elevators and Shanghai FUJI on 9 September to become an authorised distributor of the two global elevator brands in Bangladesh.

RIM Group Managing Director Md Obaidul Haque Sarker and Chief Executive Officer Md Yeasser Arafat Khan signed the agreement on behalf of the company.

Under the agreement, RIM Engineering & Elevators will supply, install and service elevators of both brands across all 64 districts of Bangladesh.

The company has also introduced the OTIS Gen3™ series to the domestic market.

“RIM Engineering & Elevators Ltd is committed to ensuring prompt elevator supply, professional installation and commissioning, regular elevator health check-ups, and reliable after-sales service,” the company said in a press release.

Company officials said a team of skilled technical professionals would oversee operations across the country to ensure safety, reliability and long-term performance.
