Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain on Tuesday night visited the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR), commonly known as Pangu Hospital, to see those injured in the wall collapse in Mirpur.
During the visit, he inquired about the condition of the injured and spoke with the attending physicians, said a press release.
He also assured them of all possible government support.
Earlier on Tuesday, two people were killed and six others injured after a wall of Mirpur University College collapsed on people waiting in line to buy TCB products in the capital’s Mirpur area.
Of the injured, five are undergoing treatment at Pangu Hospital, while one is receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
