Prism AI Creative Award 2026 officially launched

Bangladesh’s first national-level competition for creators of AI-powered content, the “Prism AI Creative Award 2026,” has officially been launched.

The competition was inaugurated at a ceremony held on Wednesday (12 August) at the PRAN-RFL Group headquarters in the capital.

PRAN-RFL Group, one of the country’s largest industrial conglomerates, is sponsoring the initiative.

The competition organised by SpikeStory Limited aims to create opportunities for young people to develop their creative thinking, innovative storytelling skills, and capacity for innovation through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director of Marketing at PRAN-RFL Group, said, “Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the creative industries. From advertising, animation, and music videos to fashion, AI is contributing to almost every area of creativity. One of the key objectives of this competition is to connect Bangladesh’s young generation with this technology and bring the country’s promising AI creators onto a national platform.”

Hossain Al Farabi, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of SpikeStory Limited, said, “Through this competition, we want to discover young people who can use AI to create something new and imaginative. It will create new opportunities for collaboration among young creators, professionals, technology companies, educational institutions, and brands. We also have plans to build a strong AI creator community over the long term.”

Those interested in participating can register by visiting www.prismaicreativeawards.com. Participants may submit their creative work in four categories: AI Advertising, Film, Music Video, and Fashion.

Workshops will also be organised at universities and educational institutions across the country. These workshops will provide students with hands-on training in prompt engineering, storytelling, and various aspects of creating AI-powered creative content.

Following the preliminary selection process, 12 finalists will be chosen from each category. The selected finalists will participate in a special two-day “Prism AI Bootcamp,” where they will receive training in AI tools, creative strategy, storytelling, prompt engineering, and related areas.

The final round of the competition, along with the “Prism AI Creative Summit” and awards ceremony, will be held in October. The initiative will bring together stakeholders from the fields of artificial intelligence, creativity, technology, and industry on a single platform.

The winner and runner-up in each category will receive a total of Tk10 lakh in prizes, along with other attractive awards.

The competition’s partners include The Daily Star, Seeb’s Solution, Astha IT, 10 Minute School, Maroon Inc., Aleph Group, Bangladesh Open Source Network, AI Varsity, and the ICE Center of University of Dhaka.

Md Saimum Hossain, Chief Executive Officer of SpikeStory Limited; Hasnaeen Rizvi Rahman, Founder and Managing Director of Astha IT; Hasib Hasan Chowdhury, Founder of Seeb’s Solution; and representatives from Aleph Holding and Maroon Inc. attended the event.
