A large crowd gathered at the fourth Made in Pakistan Exhibition at the Gulnaksha Hall of the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital on Friday, with today marking the final day of the five-day event.
The exhibition showcased a wide range of Pakistani products, including ready-made garments, cosmetics, sports goods, jewellery, food and beverages, leather products and perfumes.
More than 100 companies from various sectors of Pakistan are taking part in this year’s exhibition. The event aims to strengthen trade ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan and create new business partnerships between the two countries.
The organisers said the exhibition was held with support from Pakistan’s Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives. Various companies are also involved as logistics, support, hospitality, airline and venue partners.
Businesspeople said stronger direct communication between entrepreneurs from the two countries could help expand bilateral trade.
They also said the exhibition has created opportunities for participating Pakistani companies to connect with potential local business partners, raising hopes for new initiatives in import, export and investment.
