Opposition Leader and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman has alleged that ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina is responsible for harassment of Nobel Laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus in New York.
“The defeated and fugitive fascist continues to incite her terrorists to engage in acts of terrorism, even as far away as the United States. Sheikh Hasina herself bears responsibility for the misconduct committed by the perpetrators she unleashed against Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus,” Shafiqur wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
“The government should take appropriate action on this matter without delay. Even after fleeing the country, these fascists continue to demonstrate their involvement in terrorist activities, making their actions known to the world. Shame…”
