Opposition leader and Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman has warned the government over the ongoing gas crisis in the country, specially at CNG refueling stations which is paralysing the transport sector.
In a social media post on Friday, Shafiqur said the government should make clear statements about the crisis and take emergency steps to tackle the situation.
“The ongoing gas crisis cannot be solved through quick fixes and falsehood,” Shafiqur said.
The opposition leader added the government had increased enrgy prices in the past after facing crises, which will not be accepted this time.
