The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has nominated four leaders as members of its National Standing Committee, the party’s highest policymaking body, as part of efforts to strengthen its organisational activities.
The information was disclosed in a press release signed by BNP Assistant Office Secretary Mohammad Munir Hossain on Saturday afternoon.
The newly appointed members are Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Aman Ullah Aman, Farhad Halim and Ismail Jabiullah.
According to the statement, the four leaders were nominated to the BNP’s National Standing Committee in line with party decisions and with the aim of increasing organisational dynamism.
The BNP expressed hope that the newly appointed members would contribute to important decisions concerning the party and the people by providing thoughtful advice based on their experience, competence and political judgement.
