Nepal envoy delivers lecture at National Defence College in Dhaka

Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ghanashyam Bhandari, on Tuesday delivered a lecture on “Contemporary Nepal: Its Foreign Policy, Security and Development Dimensions, and Nepal-Bangladesh Relations” to participants of the National Defence College (NDC)-2026 course in Dhaka.

During the lecture, Ambassador Bhandari outlined the evolution of Nepal’s foreign policy, its diplomatic engagements and national security policy, according to a statement issued by the Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka.

He also highlighted Nepal’s development priorities and ongoing initiatives aimed at promoting socio-economic transformation and sustainable development.

The ambassador also spoke about the growing Nepal-Bangladesh relationship, describing it as an exemplary neighbourly friendship founded on mutual trust, goodwill and cooperation.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which the ambassador responded to a wide range of queries from the participants.
