Chinese envoy, UNDP representative discuss development cooperation in Bangladesh

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen met United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative Stephen Rodriques on Wednesday to discuss ongoing development cooperation and future collaboration in Bangladesh.

According to a statement issued by the Chinese Embassy, the two sides highly praised the progress of livelihood projects implemented in Bangladesh under the framework of the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund.

During the meeting, they held in-depth discussions on advancing existing cooperation projects and exploring ways to further strengthen development collaboration.

The discussions also focused on supporting Bangladesh’s efforts to improve its investment environment and promote sustainable economic development.
