UN Women Representative Gitanjali Singh met with Chargé d’ Affaires at High Commission of Singapore in Bangladesh Mitchel Lee on Thursday.
During the visit, the UN official shared an overview of UN Women’s ongoing work in Bangladesh on accelerating women’s leadership and representation including in the Rohingya refugee camps, the organisation said in a social media post.UN Women’s works in Bangladesh include preventing violence against women and girls, including technology-facilitated violence and advancing women’s economic empowerment gender responsive climate action, and transforming care systems.
