Listed criminal David Imon arrested in Jashore

Police have arrested notorious Chattogram criminal Mobarak Hossain, widely known as David Imon, during a joint operation in Jashore.

He was arrested at around 3:00am on Tuesday (28 July) from the Dhumdhumpur area, police said.

Jashore Superintendent of Police Syed Rafiqul Islam confirmed his arrest.

Based on the intelligence, police set up a checkpoint in the Dhumdhumpur area and apprehended the suspect, he said.

The operation was conducted jointly by the district police of Jashore and Chattogram.

Following his arrest, David Imon was handed over to the Chattogram District Police for further legal proceedings.
