Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, paid a courtesy call on US First Lady Melania Trump at an event in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting took place on Tuesday (22 September) at The St Regis New York in Manhattan, where Zubaida Rahman attended an event at the invitation of Melania Trump.

The meeting focused on children’s education, digital skills, technology, artificial intelligence and online safety.

The initiative seeks to highlight issues affecting children and promote cooperation and awareness around their education, digital skills and safety in an increasingly technology-driven world.

The White House organised the event as part of Melania Trump’s initiative, “Fostering the Future Together,” bringing together first spouses and senior representatives from different countries.
